ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)

Jim Maggiore grew up in Brentwood, Long Island and has been a resident of the Greater Binghamton Area since finishing his studies at Binghamton University. His writings and photographs on baseball have previously appeared in the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin and various editions of the Binghamton Mets Souvenir Baseball Program. This is his fifth book; other works by Jim include: ‘Celebrating 100 Years of Baseball in Greater Binghamton: Tales from the Binghamton Baseball Shrine', ‘Spring Training with the Washington Nationals', Six More Wins: A Team, A Town, A Rebound, and a Championship!', ‘Golf in Broome County'.and Contra Costa Historical Society. She also serves as vice chair of The Contra Costa Historic Landmark Advisory Committee.
