John Fry and Nancy Wingo met in Mrs. Bruner’s 8th grade English class at Horace Mann Junior High in San Diego. They met again, thanks to the internet, in 1996 and have been a couple ever since. John founded the Pacific Beach Historical Society in 1979 and has documented changes in the community during the ensuing years. John used a Canon A-1 and color slide film for his images.
