With a love of local history and a passion for exploring and photography, Jeffrey Stroup has been documenting abandoned and forgotten places for over fifteen years.
In his first book,
Abandoned Cleveland, he focused on the large number of abandoned structures that can be found in the city of Cleveland.
In his second book, Abandoned Northern Ohio, he expands on this to include some of the incredible places that can be found not just in Cleveland, but also the surrounding area.
From a greenhouse strangled with vines, to a crumbling 35,000-seat stadium, Jeffrey takes the reader on a tour through some of the more unique abandoned buildings in Northern Ohio.
With Rustbelt cities like Cleveland and Youngstown sitting alongside miles upon miles of farms and woodlands, the variety of abandoned structures scattered throughout the northern half of the state is staggering.
Jeffrey aims to tell the chronicles of these places and share some of his own personal stories and feelings about these forgotten and neglected locations.authors] Author(s):
