Jacob Joseph comes from an automotive journalism background. Taking photos of cars at international shows is always a good time, but abandoned buildings offered a bit of variety and a whole new set of photography challenges. An American-Israeli dual citizen and U.S. Army veteran, Jacob has seen a lot of the world, but upon returning to Cleveland, the city where he grew up, was when he felt inspired to document the area’s many abandoned buildings. His love of architecture extends to buildings that aren’t even abandoned, at least sometimes.
