David C. Antonucci has resided in the Lake Tahoe area for over forty-five years. He received bachelor's and master’s degrees in civil and environmental engineering from California State Polytechnic University and Oregon State University and is a licensed professional engineer. His professional career started in 1973 and included senior manager and policy level positions in the public sector. He oversaw water pollution enforcement at Lake Tahoe for the Lahontan Regional Water Quality Control Board between 1975-1980. For twenty years, he managed a special district in Tahoe City responsible for water, sewer, parks, and recreation services. The author enjoys cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain, road and fat biking, flatwater kayaking, hiking, and RV camping. He resides in Tahoma, California, with his spouse, Jenny Antonucci.
