DESCRIPTION

A walk through a cemetery is a walk through history.

Cemeteries are full of stories and mysteries. The National Capital area, encompassing Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Central Maryland, is rich with history. Some stories are well-known, while others have become long-forgotten gems.

The National Capital Area: Gone but Not Forgotten is a photographic remembrance that shares the rich history and stories linked to the many people who lived and died in this region and serves to preserve the memory of the people who helped to weave the fabric of our nation.
