I was extremely pleased by the quality of my book Lowell Through Time. The America Through Times series is important in how it selects for authors that have an intimate and personal experience of the places they write about, thereby bringing to light changes often forgotten or unknown.

Now, how do I put this modestly: EVERYONE LOVES THE BOOK!!!!! I am getting so much feedback already from people who want to order books, and invitations to speak and do book signings from all sorts of museums, stores, libraries, universities, etc. I can't thank you enough for accommodating my hideously long text and juggling the images so they fit. I even spoke to a highly respected graphic designer who praised the book stock and reproduction of images.

I was so happy to share photos and stories from my beloved adopted state. There is so much history beneath the surface of #California that most people don’t know about, left behind in the abandoned towns and ruins of the land. A history of migration, progress, innovation, successes and failures, and the dreams that keep drawing people out to the West, even today.
